# A Google listing change didn't save

#### Check your listing is verified

Changes only go live once your listing is verified with Google. See [Can't verify your Google listing](/troubleshooting/cant-verify-listing.md).

Editing your Google listing is available on **Premium** and **Ultimate** plans. See [Plan & billing](/settings/billing.md).

#### Look for a retired category

If a Google category is no longer available, Madison flags it when you save. Pick a current category instead.

#### Re-open to confirm it saved

Madison only saves the sections you actually changed. If something looks unchanged, re-open the listing and check your edit was saved.
