# Edit your listing

Your Google Business Profile is often the first thing customers see, so keeping it accurate matters. Madison lets you edit it without logging in to Google.

{% hint style="info" %}
Editing your Google listing is available on **Premium** and **Ultimate**. See [Settings → Plan & Billing](/settings/billing.md) to upgrade, or contact us at <support@meetmadison.ai>.
{% endhint %}

## What you can edit

* Business **name**, **website**, and **description**
* **Primary** and **additional** categories
* **Phone numbers**
* **Attributes** (such as *Wheelchair accessible*, *Free Wi-Fi*, *Outdoor seating*)
* **Regular hours** and **special hours**
* **Address**

Madison only saves the sections you actually change, so you can update one thing without touching the rest.

## Choosing a category

Start typing and Madison suggests matching Google categories. It understands meaning, not just spelling, so typing "coffee" surfaces café categories. Set your **primary** category first, then add any others.

## Attributes

The attributes on offer depend on your category. The ones you tick are treated as the complete set, so unticking an attribute clears it on Google too.

## Special hours

Add dated exceptions for holidays or one-off changes, set different open and close times, or mark the day closed. Past dates drop off automatically.

{% hint style="success" %}
Manage several locations? You can update many at once. See [Bulk-edit your listings](/local-seo/bulk-edit-listings.md). If Madison says a listing [isn't verified](/troubleshooting/cant-verify-listing.md), sort that first.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.meetmadison.ai/local-seo/edit-your-listing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
